- The Feminist Writers Workshop, or FemWrite, is a moderated list for the
submission and critique of feminist literature. The primary goal of the workshop
is to assist its members in making their work publishable. FemWrite is open
to any type of literary work that explores or includes nontraditional gender
roles. Submissions can be short fiction, novel chapters, essays, poetry, nonfiction
articles, etc. FemWrite is also a forum to discuss marketing our work, to
share moral support, and to discuss social theories and observations as they
apply to our writing. (10/97)

- "WolfRunners is an online community for women writers and artists working
in the genres of science fiction and fantasy. The goal of WolfRunners is to
encourage members to form lasting ties, both professional and personal, to
aid in the conceptualization, composition, and marketing of their work. Works-in-progress
may be offered for critique, new markets and submission tips shared, and ideas
bounced off the only people who can truly understand the life and mind of
the writer: other writers in that genre."
